Biography
Kim Haffey is a board certified music therapist and freelance musician in Columbus, OH. She has owned and operated Dynamic Music Therapy Services LLC since August of 2020 and sees clients out of her office in Worthington, OH. Kim attended Baldwin Wallace University where she earned her bachelor of music degree in music therapy and double bass performance. She completed her graduate studies at the University of Toronto in Music & Health Sciences with an emphasis on neurologic music therapy. Kim completed her music therapy internship with Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care of Indiana before moving back to Cleveland to work for The Music Settlement. She has been in practice for 10 years. After completing her graduate studies in Toronto she relocated to Columbus, OH to work for Columbus Springs East. In August 2020 she decided to open a private practice and has been seeing clients full time through Dynamic Music Therapy Services LLC ever since. Kim specializes in neurologic music therapy, Autism, speech and language development, literacy skills, behavior modification, and adapted lessons. She is also a freelance musician who plays regularly at various venues throughout Columbus and Cleveland.
